MTO's Sheep Hunts

The Missouri River Breaks is home of the best sheep hunting in the Untied States. We offer fully guided sheep hunts in both coveted units 482 and unit 680 on the North and South side of the Missouri River Breaks. We work in conjunction with Montana Bighorn Outfitters  we are the only outfitter currently licensed to hunt both the North and the South side of the river along with a special license to take a jet boat up the Missouri River. 

Licensed Outfitter John Lewton has been hunting the Missouri River Breaks since the early 1990's and has been apart of over 100 sheep hunts in the Missouri breaks.  In 2017 he was involved in Justin Sheedy's new American record along with multiple rams over 200 inches. John has been a part of over 320 sheep hunts and is world renowned for his ability to judge a sheep on the hoof. He loves sheep hunting and the knowledge he has obtained from the miles of country he has covered in the breaks is hard to come by. 

The river allows for access into sheep country that is otherwise unattainable. With a 17ft Alaskan jet boat we will get you into some of the worlds best sheep hunting.
