Montana Trophy Outfitters was formed in 2017 Outfitter License #29769 and was created with goals to be Montana's premier hunting outfitter. MTO thrives to leave every hunter with a positive experience and one that he/she will never forget. We focuses on bringing clients Montana's best private land elk and deer hunts along with top notch private land hunts in both general and special draw units throughout Montana.

Montana Trophy Outfitters offers fully guided rifle and bow hunts on private working cattle ranches. The ranches offer access by 4 wheel drive vehicles. These hunts are primarily spot and stalk. Our hunts will take you from timbered mountain draws of the Southwest to the flat country with cedar breaks in Central Montana. Our leases are all hunted on resident elk herds. This removes the guesswork and timing issues often associated with migratory herd hunts.

Montana Trophy Outfitters also provides high quality deer hunts in general units throughout the state. We offer both whitetail hunts and mule deer hunts. In Central Montana the mule deer flourish and we operates the one of the only outfit permitted on both the North and South sides of the Missouri River with the ability to take a jet boat commercially on the river.  Our whitetail hunts are mainly conducted in Southwestern Montana along the lush river bottoms.

Montana Trophy Outfitters  prides itself in providing hunts across all of Montana. Central Montana holds some of Montana's larger bulls and Montana runs special draw units in most the Central Montana units. Some of these being archery only tags that are fairly easy to draw because of the large amount of private ground and small access to public.

Montana Trophy Outfitters also conducts world class bighorn sheep hunts in the best sheep areas in the United States. Those lucky enough to draw the coveted 680-20 or 482-20 Montana sheep tags now have the ability to hire John Lewton a world renowned sheep guide known for his ability to find and kill some of the biggest sheep ever taken.

Montana Trophy Outfitters sets itself apart by providing  first class lodging  and food. London Hills lodge is a 5000 sg ft lodge located at base of the London Hills in Cardwell Montana overlooking the beautiful Tobacco Root Mountains. The lodge is secluded and has breathtaking views of the Rocky Mountains. This lodge is used for the elk and whitetail deer hunts throughout the rifle and archery seasons. The size of the lodge allows each hunter to have his own room during the hunt.

Montana Trophy Outfitters does provide limited private ground elk hunts in Montana's Premier 380 special draw hunt as well. If you are lucky enough to draw the tag don't miss out on your opportunity of a bull of a lifetime. We have ranches where the elk like to be in both archery and rifle seasons.
